Current Positions:

Branch Manager
Job Description:
A Nicholas Financial Branch Manager is primarily responsible for branch operations with a strong focus on collections, account management, and underwriting skills.

Requirements:
The position requires extensive proficiency in all phases of office administration, training, supervising, disciplining staff as well as communications with staff, managers, the general public and the Corporate Office. The Branch Manager acquires indirect installment sales contracts from automobile dealers and originates direct consumer loans.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a college degree and experience in automobile loan contract purchasing and collections.
Assistant Branch Manager
Job Description:
A Nicholas Financial Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for supervising clerical personnel and overseeing branch operations under the direction of the Branch Manager. Must be able to complete all Branch Manager duties during extended periods of time while the Branch Manager is absent.

Requirements:
The position requires extensive proficiency in all phases of office administration, training, supervising, disciplining staff as well as communications with management and maintaining a portfolio of accounts with a limited lending authority and a limited indirect lending authority.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in automobile loan contract purchasing and collections.
Administrator
Job Description:
A Nicholas Financial Branch Administrator is responsible for contract processing, cashiering, assisting with credit application processing and collections, and all other duties related to branch operations. Exercises discretion in scheduling work, composing correspondence, ensuring the safekeeping of internal/external customer files, maintaining accurate files and records, filing, typing reports, proposals, memos and letters. Handles, directs or screens incoming telephone calls. Responsible for handling matters of a complex and/or confidential nature. The incumbent will usually be closely supervised for the accuracy of work.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in banking, finance or automotive credit.
Collector
Job Description:
A Nicholas Financial Branch Collector is responsible for contacting customers who are delinquent in their payment schedule to negotiate a payment plan. Represents NFI in Bankruptcy and/or Small Claims Courts as necessary. The incumbent may also make personal visits to the customer’s place of residence or employment to negotiate a payment plan.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in auto collections.
Software Application Developer
Job Description:
A Nicholas Financial Software Application Developer will work with Nicholas Financial's software development staff to develop custom application software on existing company platforms. This candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to design, code, test, document and implement efficient and fully functional application code. Three-plus years of experience delivering commercial application software in a Basic programming environment is required. Significant experience in developing accounting applications would be a definite plus but is not required. Delphi or SQL Query programming experience would also be desirable. Experience on a Linux / Unix operating system platform is required, while Windows Server operating systems experience is highly desirable.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position will have a significant amount of experience in the development of end-user accounting applications.
